InterXgaming a large online casino online gambling company has said in a press release that it will continue to accept customers from the United States, for the time being, despite the recent legislation passed in Congress and signed by George W. Bush.

The online casino on line gambling site affiliate manager stated that “The legislation signed recently by President George W. Bush, stating that credit card transactions to online gambling sites not be allowed, and had no mention of actually gaming online, and therefore until that is legislated upon, we will continue to accept players from the United States”.

The online casino on line gambling company also stated that it will continue to operate until there is a law in place that specifically bans online casino on line gambling companies from operating with U.S. customers.

InterXgaming is currently looking for other gaming companies to merge with outside of the U.S. to increase their market share in Europe and Asia.

Internet gambling company Betcorp. Ltd of Australia released that it plans to sell its arm based in Toronto, Canada and Antigua in the Caribbean to Bodog Entertainment Group for an estimated $11 million (U.S.)

The sale is intended to remove the company from U.S. markets following the new laws in place. The new laws made it impossible for the company to offer services to United States customers who accounted for about 85% of the online casino on line gambling company’s customer base.

The Bodog Entertainment Group is a prominent player in the online casino industry and is based in San Jose, Costa Rica.
